In the spirit of DIY, provisionality and making do, this show is thrown together from some new work still in progress, some old unfinished work and some half-baked ideas dreamed up at the last moment. What better way to critique the packaged concepts and bureaucratic expectations of the institution and celebrate the legacy of ARIs and their ethos of experimentation and pleasing oneself, this at the moment of Marrickville’s Garage’s demise.
